us grow and maintain the Boxerwood PlayTrail.
Like
you, we are thrilled to see our youngest visitors make playful connections
with the natural world atop Tiny House Mountain, in the Mud Kitchen, along
Dale’s Creek, or perched on a Little Eagles’ Nest. Boxerwood is committed to
providing children in the Rockbridge community with a beautiful, safe and
enticing place for healthy outdoor play.
In
order to keep the PlayTrail open to the community free of charge year-round,
we need help from the families who love it as much as we do. This spring we
are adding a new membership category for the BEA—Playtrail Blazers. This
special $25 membership is for families with young children (ages 6 and
under). Playtrail Blazers will receive the Boxerwood newsletter, advance
notice of Boxerwood activities and events, and one child’s PlayTrail T-shirt
(additional T-shirts may be purchased for $12).
As
PlayTrail Blazers, your children are more than “visitors”; they are part of
the wild and wonderful world of Boxerwood. Here they will grow up having the
kind of experiences that build awareness of the beauty and fragility of
nature, and inspire them to care for their world.
