Recirculating Filtration System

The
Recirculating Filtration System consists of three parts –
Pumping
Station,
Media Filter, and
Distribution Box.
In the recirculating filtration system, the wastewater passes through the
Media Filter to the Distribution Box.
One-fifth of the wastewater goes on to the greenhouse for further
treatment and four-fifths returns to the Pumping Station to be pumped to the
Media Filter again.
The number of times the water passes through the filter is called the
recirculation ratio and is determined by the desired quality of treatment.
This recirculation ratio is 4:1
